L. Frank Baum was born in Chittenango, New York in 1856. Because of a weak heart, he was unable to run and play like most children and spent much of his time visiting imaginary places with his imaginary friends. His adult life was rich and varied. He was a chicken farmer, magazine editor, actor, theater owner, merchant, and a salesman before becoming a full-time writer. His most famous work, The Wizard of Oz, was published in 1900 and became an instant hit with readers of all ages. Baum died in 1919.

The Glass Dog by L. Frank Baum
Take a cantankerous wizard, an ambitious glass maker, and a beautiful young lady. Toss in a few spells, a drop of magic potion, and a dash of beauty powder. And don't forget to add an enchanted glass dog. Mix thoroughly, and you have a whimsical story that is sure to entertain and amuse the entire family. Performed by David DuChene.

The Capture of Father Time by L. Frank Baum
Young Jim finds unlimited opportunities for mischief when he accidentally captures Father Time with his lasso, and like twelve-year-olds everywhere, he has a difficult time resisting temptation. In fact, he doesn't even try. The townspeople are in for some hilarious surprises once time starts moving again. Performed by James Mio.
